Why is Quant better or different than BTC? In a few words, it is a network connectivity protocol, not a blockchain. Interoperability is one of the most pressing needs for blockchains today just as it was for the Internet before TCP/IP. Remember when we all used dial-up modems to access our walled garden servers (e.g. AOL, Compuserve, Prodigy, etc)? Quant Network's Overledger is a patented software operating system that can seamlessly and easily connect any-to-any blockchain (permissioned, permissionless or one to another), Directed Acyclic Graph (e.g IOTA, Hadera Hashgraph, Constellation, etc) or even other networks such as telecoms, other ecosystems of networks, or ecosystems of ecosystems. It is the TCP/IP glue for an Internet of Trust or Value, instead of just Data. 4 years ago I decided (then at age 72!) I needed to learn about blockchain and am so happy I did. I truly believe crypto is the best investment opportunity of my lifetime, and I have gradually shifted the majority of my stock investments to crypto. As Raoul Pal, CEO of RealVision said in a recent Tweet: "I care more about crypto... its just low vol (he means volatility) right now so the mind drifts. ALL the macro legends are crypto now... sorry, it is how it is. Literally ALL the guys I know in macro care more about crypto because it IS macro now. It is the future." As well versed as you are in both networking and investing, you really need to educate yourself about blockchain technology. It's changing the world and IMHO we're still in the very early stages of a huge investment opportunity. P.S.
