IAC and Sun Tzu are both well versed in F/A on a variety of stocks. One of them might know.

I just did a quick look at the Yahoo stats on PG and UL. From only one aspect, top line revenue, UL has been flat to down for several years. PG, on the other hand, has shown modest top line growth every year.

The markets may be saying that UL is not generating enough bottom line profits to justify the stock price.

I would not invest on my 2 cents worth - but it's what I can see at a very quick glance of a couple of minutes....

Let me add that the data in TD's system confirms this basic/superficial view (see sales per share and EPS):
PG

UL

UL vs PG:

Consumer spending has rebounded in the US more than the rest of the world, since the early-2020 lows. UL has a greater % of sales ex-US and emerging markets, compared to PG.

Based purely on demographics, LT growth will be higher in emerging markets than US. So I expect PG outperformance to be temporary.

On the basis of valuation and LT growth prospects, I would prefer UL. Both are excellent companies with superb management.
