I am a little more confident and have stratched my way to a small loss by playing the roller coaster swings between 1 and 3 for the past few months. It will lessen the pain of the $6 stock.

I learned my lesson well here too. This was out of my core competence and the DD I performed along with the experts I spoke to obviously was faulty. Or it indeed was poor management by its founder and the people he surrounded himself with. With all his attributes, Boyd Coddington was not as stellar a businessman as he was a designer of billet wheels and hot rods. I only hope that the crew in place now can turn the company around.

I hate to think this was a cleverly orchestrated hoax to sell off inflated shares of stock for the insiders to enrich themselves at our expense. Going public then selling off shares as the Titanic is sinking is in poor taste.

My lesson is to stay specifically to those areas that I feel both comfortable and competent talking about. It has never failed me. I guess straying from the path increases your chances of walking through Poison Ivy.
