CIA controls the government, "Team Biden" is nothing but a puppet show

for public propaganda consumption/narrative control

When will the people rise?

your post reads bleak.. presents as China vs America.
I do agree with that Huawei issue, that should be let go. it's run its course.

as it shakes, there is little to be gained for the Americans here, but for China, everything.
(look at the sideline cheerleaders from E./ S.E./ S. Asia.. who do you think they are they rooting for?)

one can put all the hyperbole (strictly China domestic consumption only) aside & deal with the cards presented..
Ms Sherman acted like a mother dealing with a recalcitrant child... she did well from her position of strength.
Maybe the Oct meeting will improve.

>>>>>>Foreign Minister Wang Yi reiterated requirements from Beijing in Monday’s talks in Tianjin with Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman, namely that the U.S. stop criticizing China’s political system, drop all sanctions and tariffs, and stay out of Hong Kong, Taiwan and Xinjiang affairs.<<<<<

Lol!

Fat chance.

Taiwan will never be invaded because the casualty rate in young men killed and injured would be unacceptable.

China, for all is ‘socialist’ propaganda, has a very limited system for caring for the elderly, whose numbers are increasing. The family, i.e., males in their prime earning age, are expected to contribute significantly to this obligation. Take away a large number of these males due to war-related death or incapacity, and the result is predictable: A horrific result for the elderly.

Sons are valued. Kill or injure enough of them and the CCP’s raison d’etre - stability - would disappear.

In other words, it is just not worth it.

Plus, it is a seriously difficult task to accomplish. The human costs, not to mention the internal and geopolitical ones, make it a near-certainty that nothing will happen.

So, we can expect lots of saber rattling but no war, no invasion.

Ever.
