IBM also bought Tivoli and Software Artistry - they are making aggressive moves into Software and Netscape could be a good fit.

<<<<IBM would accomplish this objective thru a Netscape aquisition

...and when you read news about enterprise web applications you keep seeing the names ibm and nscp pop up over and over--sprinkled with a little bit of msft now and then.

....i ws thinking the same thing.

......... think of an alliance ibm + nscp + sunw + orcl + sybs + the banks (integrion is ibm!) + ckfr (who are battling msft) + intu & xcit (aligned with intu) = an interesting horse race.

.....we need to see nscp make more buddies.
