Don, Dan, and Mathon, << SGI downsliding and that good old MAC >>

I got this straight from television, so it CAN"T be wrong. One of
the education or discovery channels or something like that did a
special on Gates and Jobs. They implied in the program that
APPL had 2 distinct deployment problems. 1) Jobs wanted software
perfection before product release while Gates tossed it out, let the
millions of users pick it apart, then fixed it ASAP. SMART marketing!
2) When the MAC was released you couldn't do much with it. Software
wasn't available. I'm talking early spreadsheets, etc. About all one
could do was play on it. Problem 2 probably came from problem 1.
Another problem. SGI is sliding. I say we announce Mathon Whatshisname as CFO and give SGI another jump start. H.B. (home brew)
P.S. -- Mathon, your name comes up as a spelling error! hmmmmm
