CRB is pretty meaningless as an indicator of economic activity. It has too many moving parts. Chemicals are a better gauge and they are not doing well lately. I am looking at my private indicators and they are giving the kinds of sell signals that you see only before bear market tops. The only reason I am hesitant to act on this is because I find it very difficult to believe that with $120B monthly liquidity pump and another $3.5T spending bill in the wings the market could make a sustained top.
