Sample complaint. For this site to happen in the net there must be a lot af angry people out there.

Talk about a bunch of cheese balls, these people will do anything to sign you up then rip you off. They really don't care about your fitness needs. They just want your money.
Here are my complaints from a recent visit to check out the facility!

1. They tried to sell me a premier membership. Who needs this service? If you read what the service is, it's really too much. They never asked me what kind of membership I wanted. They just tried to push this on me! I told him I heard of the $19 down $19 a month deal, but he didn't care. He just wanted to sell me the most expensive membership. Who cares what the customer wants, right? Just as long as they get their commission and your bank account number.

2. Then they told me that this deal of $19 down $19 a month was going to end that day I visited the place. That's a load of crap! They pressure you into signing that same day you visit. (I've heard this line before, except it was from another gym from another sales guy from LA Fitness.) They don't give you a chance to think it over. That deal will probably go on for a couple of months - but they won't tell you that!

3. When I refused to sign, and I told them I wanted to check some places out, the sales guy got another sales guy to coerce me into signing. Both of them were practically in my face trying to get me to join.

That is what really pissed me off!

I haven't joined, and have no plans to do so. I'm not a member (thank God), and I'm really pissed on how they tried to railroad me into signing. Sure, it's a living, and everybody has to make a buck, but they're not going to sucker me into their crap! I hope that company realizes that it's the paying customers that keep them in business. If they keep this crap up, perhaps one day they'll have to close their doors because people will realize what a bunch of crooks they are!

Teresa of Atlanta; "I just don't understand how a club like that, with all the problems people are having with them, from poor customer service to money matters, is still thriving. Couldn't there be a class action suit filed or something?"
RM of St. Louis, MO asks, "After seeing the way that local Bally affiliates scheme, lie, and take advantage of people, in addition to the large amounts of money they have presumably obtained dishonestly (and possibly criminally) through these methods, I wonder if it isn't time for a Class Action suit against this deceitful organization!"
K. of Chicago would be interested in finding out if others would be willing to file a class action suit against Bally's.
Michael of Costa Mesa, CA says "I am soliciting information on the possibility of beginning a class action lawsuit against Bally's only in response to their recent practices regarding the sale of accounts or memberships to other health clubs."
Mabuti of Escondido, CA says, "Ballys is the most unethical business I have ever had to deal with and if there are any people out there who are willing to get involved in a class action suit, you'll have my 100 percent participation."
R of Canoga Park, CA says, "I did put an ad in the paper looking for others who have had problems with Ballys. My phone is now ringing daily with complaints. I was hoping to get some sort of class action suit going but I'm still working on finding a lawyer."
