Pat, I've posted these thoughts before, but I think they bear repeating. Anyone out there pleases correct me if I am wrong. Pooling of interests considerations would only come up if LU were to do a stock deal. The company is making over a billion a quarter so a cash deal is easy. I think it makes strategic sense for CSCO or LU to buy ASND to keep the other at bay. What would be interesting is if one of them made an offer, would the other start a bidding war? I don't own ASND looking for a takeout but the more I think about it and digest the input of others the more sense it makes.
