You do like Ancor deep down don't you! Who would have guessed!!! :-)

As for SCSI and SCSI switches...From what I hear, CPQ is moving entirely over to FC and is going to stop making newer SCSI products. A risky move, perhaps...but CPQ is actually a pretty large company and they are influential in the direction of many things. :-)

I think they are serious, but according to a little article in the February 2, 1998 issue of LAN Times magazine (Page 24), the Jigsaw 8 is priced starting "at $8,000 per port". I don't see that as a major threat to Fibre Channel. GigaLabs may be attempting to go after the existing SCSI market, which is huge. It certainly is interesting technology.
