......well....FWIW..........I think the action Tuesday in Xilinx and AMD was a coordinated effort to move the Xilinx/AMD ratio as low as possible before effecting the dual buy/sell....this coordinated effort dropped the ratio to an incredible 1.26 at one point from about 1.38 at the open. (I made my switch at 1.27) If I'm right, the 1.26 will be the lowest ratio before the merger and anyone that got that will get a 1.723/1.26 or a 36+% premium in 6 months................quite the deal!.....assuming of course the deal closes.....if not, they and me lose out big as Xilinx would tank badly.............so it comes down to Lisa pulling it off...........but after betting on her 5 years ago, I'm still betting on her now.........any other plausible explanations?.......anybody??....or am I badly missing something ???......first (and last) time trying this
