Aotearoa-Zimbabwe is my new name for what they are achieving. Which is not to say it has ever been great. Like Switzerland. Which remains far from perfect but is far less imperfect than many countries. Climate for a start.

I don't feel like a full scale rant.

It's still a great bolt hole for people from Hong Kong, Japan, India, South Africans, Zimbabweans and anyone who can get in.

It's a bit like Londonistan = turning into a mongrel country which has some biological advantages over racially pure places.

In my youth I thought of countries and the world as slow moving and evolutionary. Now I realise humans are frenetic hot blooded crazies prone to great MADness as in mutual assured destruction with limited attachment to reality, good ideas, understanding and philosophical foundations. #MeToo = my philosophical foundations have changed from my ignorant childhood.

Nature is brutal, relentless, inevitable and merciless and by nature I include self-determined brain function.

One philosophical ideology is a borderless world of serfs owned by states, run by self-indulgent greedy bossy bastards controlling their slaves.

I prefer a world of borders with Tradable Citizenship as private property = people could abandon ship, selling their citizenship to the highest bidder and buying into somewhere more suitable to them. They could own half a dozen.

Unfortunately, no such country exists. Yet.

The trends are bad.

But there are good trends. For example the population explosion to Malthusian carnage is fizzling out. So the need to send armies over borders to kill competing men has pretty much gone apart from the invasion by men from Africa and jihad lands, south of the USA border, here and there.

In the horrible centuries before the 21st century, populations everywhere were forced to conquer and kill or be murdered by the men from over the borders. Or by civil wars which did the same.
