Mr. Sarwar, It is very logical what you are saying,however it is pure hope on your part.I don't know how much you have invested in this company,but you not only lost in terms of share value,but interest on your capital as well.As far as patents are concerned:What makes you think that their patent are strong?I own 26 patents, US and International.Assuming the FDA approves all,however long it takes.They have no products as far as mfg is concerned.As soon as they (IF) get FDA approval, VVUS will file a law suit to challenge their patents.I been through that at a cost of $1.5 mill in lawyers fee.VVUS can afford lawyers, hvsf can't.Once the appelet court aproves their challenged patent than you can say that they indeed have a good and strong patent.Iam sorry to put cold water on your assumptions and belief,but that is the so called free interprise under the capitalistis system.Generally who ever has the most money or political connections wins.I only have 3800 shares now at a $95000 investment.I will be very suprized if you or I will ever get back half of our investment.I hope Iam wrong for everyones sake.I also find it interesting that the stock holders were not called for a vote.I had the same situation with another company the board involved every stock holder about the reverse split.I voted against it but I lost, because the directors out voted every one else.Needless to say I sold at a $78,000 loss.The company since went out of busn:Iam sure you mean well, however this board is a scam any way you cut it.They are far from honest,infact they don't even know the meaning of honesty,nor do they care.More than likely they figure that all honest people are basically fools.The sad thing is that they are unfortunatelly right.My honesty has costs me millions and still it goes on.My stuff is copied by billion dollars worth of several corps.Iam getting a small fraction of what is rightfully mine.I could write a book on this kinds of fair play anti trust, discrimination, corporate piretcy,etc.I wish you all the luck and hope you will recover all your losses.
