I think Claire McCaskill had the answer, even a judge Trump appointed form a list from the Heritage Foundation requires evidence. They don't want to be mocked as completely stupid and overruled on appeal, perhaps even having to face a competency hearing. There has never been ANY evidence presented to any court.

I'm not altogether sure what the alleged "Big Lie" is, but the Supreme Court appears to be the only sensible entity left in government today. We've got a House run by Pelosi, a senile president, and unfortunately, Republicans who have the spines of Democrats.

If the Supremes cave, we're finished as a nation. As it now stands, they're buying us time. The Court played the hand they were dealt, which is the way it is supposed to work. I hope the Court will stand together where it is important to stop the Democrats' corruption of fundamentals of the United States democracy.
