I remember last year around March time-frame, I was hearing the same kinds of arguments, I'm hearing now - Cisco is overvalued, blah, blah, blah. Well, I bought in at around $60 (that's $40 post split)last year before the big networking blood bath and the split, and now look at us. I'm up 50% since then.

I'm not selling this one for anything. Instead, I encourage all of you naysayers to sell and drive the price down, so that I can buy more. This company will double its size by the year 2000. All they have to do is keep growing at 30% per year for the next 3 years for that to happen. Take this prediction and paste it to your foreheads, folks, because you can bank on it.

<< Computer sales have been exploding in europe and networking sales are finally beginning to take off. That bodes well for Cisco. >>

How so? Is this thread really that excited about 26% growth? I don't see why C$CO deserves to trade like MSFT and DELL with these mediocre earnings. What were MSFT's earnings like the last two quarters? Up 49% last quarter? 53% the quarter before? How does that compare to C$CO's mid 20% growth for the last two quarters?

INTC didn't have good earnings last quarter but it wasn't as overvalued as C$CO to begin with. Furthermore it is overvalued now too and looks good to short.

<< The next big question is 3Com's earnings coming up in March I believe. >>

I don't see how COMS earnings could really hurt C$CO. COMS earnings are going to suck like they have for the past year.
