Thomas Haegin:

My first purchase of equities in the Pacific Rim was 3 weeks ago, and through blind luck coincided with the recent rally. I bought it after receiving my first issue of Adrian Day's newsletter who recommended several issues selling at substantial discounts. I try to practice the cockroach theory of investing, when conditions are dark it's time to come out and play. Since the Asian contagion is not a terminal disease and mister market is sometimes irrational, I plan to accumulate some bargains.

As far as answers to some of your questions, I plead ignorance. However, I feel that if you want to directly invest in any market you have two options 1. Travel to the country and set up a trading account. 2. Use a broker in your country who already has done this. If there are other options may be someone else can post.

Terry,
