Science News -Jan 31- states in an article that giving uric acid
to mice with a disease resembling multiple sclerosis reduces
paralysis. Possibly the market interpreted this as having implications
for Avonex. The article went on to state there was some doubt this
would work on humans. Science News only summarizes the article at
their site.
