Bells palsy is a result of nerve damage from the herpes virus.

A friend of my girlfriend is a doctor and was vaxed back in January. He came down with Bells Palsy and had to wait a few weeks extra for it to clear before he had his second shot. I don't believe the second shot brought it about again. Not certain if it was Pfizer or Moderna but they knew back then this was a potential side effect.
