I would argue the opposite... That taking proper precautions is just not that a big deal... but is quite simple. People already know how to wear a mask. Effective prevention only requires a change in choosing masks that actually work. But, it doesn't help when officialdom propagate disinformation... So, after "masks don't work... you don't need masks"... "they" shifted their messaging to "you must all wear masks that don't work". Masks do work. Wear one that works if and when you need one. That's all of it. Simple. The rest... is just fear mongering... as it is the fear, and not the virus, that is the tool being exploited... And, that being the goal is made clear enough... because they know masks do work... that the reason they at first restricted access to them to keep them for themselves... and they know the masks that are being used don't work... and in spite of the profits to be made... have done nothing to require masks that do work ? Far more productive to accept the simple truth that "masks work"... take care of your own risks yourself... and move on to figuring out how to protect yourself from the fear mongering and the official disinformation campaigns... like the Delta variant crisis... that are intended to generate confusion and fear to better exploit you. Thus far... the data appear to show that vaccination makes you more susceptible to being harmed by the Delta variant... otherwise, the comparative statistics from India and Israel make no sense at all... and the reality apparent in the U.S. makes only less sense than that... unless vaccine + Delta is worse than outcomes with no vaccination at all... as Sweden, and for all practical purposes, India... They cannot afford exposure of the truth... that the vaccine has made things worse... But, the doubling down on vehemence in the propaganda... is having the opposite impact as expected and required ?
