betty and Michel,

I concur your thoughts. What the high techs would lose in Southeast Asia should be more than offset by gains in Europe.

Betty, <not entirely off-topic>

Windows NT and VMS have 95% code in common, same visionary heading the coding team for both, etc. The set-top box and digital TV markets are
so huge that I would not be surprised to see Win or Paq (drop the Tel) have from time to time some romance with "other people's designs", non-Intel based if you see what I mean, to put some pressure on Intel. About the same way we see Rambus designs being put in pressure by Intel "flirts" with Rambus competing solutions.

Strangely, in this high-tech market, you have to suggest you might become a treator to get better deals...

I think that it would be excellent for Rambus to have a real second
large market opening, like in a go game, two "living eyes" connected
to define a healthy territory. That is why I like RMBS deals with TI and Nintendo. A MOTC deal would be fabulous.

RMBS : a very exciting company, indeed.

Regards,

MiB
