Paul, that's pathetic enough, but what really get me is the guy collects a following from some mind numb robots because he gets lucky for a month or two. :-)

Paul,

The F-man I was referring to as a contrary indicator was not PF but Ray/Sherlie/InvestorA/Fuchi.

Being a MSFT stockholder, I do follow Microsoft but don't have enough time to read the posts on that thread so I wasn't aware of Fiondella's incredible wisdom in shorting that stock too.

I'm not sure which one of these characters is a better contrary indicator now that you tell me this. Probably one is a confirmation of the other.

Barry

Paul, RE: "What a complete fool - he's trying to force MSFT
down when their two largest shareholders, Gates and Paul Allen, are the first and fourth richest
people in America!"

Talk about Gall - or complete stupidity!"

You just have to start working on your shyness and tell us how you really feel!

Paul, re: Fiondella

The most remarkable thing about his visit on the Intel thread was that people started to take him seriously. I remember some posts saying "if we had only listened to Paul F.".

It about made me sick at the time.

Paul--
I caught the tail end of a commercial this evening, and wonder if you have seen it.

It depicted a Pentium II chip strapped on the back of a snail, then asked why shouldn't you have the fastest computer chip in the USA. The chip being sold was the "G3", supposedly running 3X the speed of any PII out there. From Apple, as a PowerMac.

I was quite surprised...first that Apple was launching a new machine, and second that the speed jump was so great.

Then I have heard that Intel is showing 1000mhz PII's already...say it isn't so...is my PII/266 already a dinosaur?

I want Intel to stay competitive, but really was hoping for more than six months out of my present machine. <ggg>

BTW, oddly enough, the spellchecker doesn't like Pentium or mhz...is this really TechStocks?

cheers!
Rick
