S3 Challenge Intel, etc. If redundant, sorry, been away.

COULD S3 CHALLENGE INTEL? CHIPMAKER HAS VALUABLE EXPONENTIAL PATENTS
news.com

Yes, S3 was the one that bought 45 patents from the defunct chipmaker
Exponential in an anonymous auction last summer. Among them is a key for building a 64-bit microprocessor that could turn up the heat on Intel. AreS3's moves more reason for Grove paranoia?

Mike,

Naaaaah. It's this move that sent DAMIEN whimpering into the corner! I hope the next move up starts to melt him.

Onward,

George

Oh yeah, S3...not for me....did great on it last year. Rode it from 9 to 18 but when they had to restate, I said goodbye. I don't own companies that cheat and lie to shareholders or have so little control over things that they have to restate. Call it what you want, but I very very very rarely will come back to a company that restates. I
know they revamped management, sold some assets and just announced a
restructuring....They smell like a company that is destined bankruptcy in the next two years
