Bob, those dried cukes sound like a dandy alternative treat.

It's not the salt in the chips that are bad for you -- or even the fried potatoes -- it's the chemicals.

That stand looks like the cadillac ...

I've got walleye envy ... with any luck I'll get out one evening this weekend and pick up a few myself.

I am going to try this. I have an overabundance of cucumbers. How long in the dehydrator? How long do they keep? I have an Excalibur which is really nice. Funny story, I never was willing to buy one because I thought they were too expensive. However, towards the end of my first marriage, and after I moved out, I decided a 50% discount was ok and bought one. My ex paid half. Sweet!
