Yeah, Chevron bought Noble in October 2020 during the height of the pandemic.

I believe Lloyd Nobel had run out of financing during the pandemic, after his 2019 bankruptcy forced him to de-list Noble Energy from the NYSE to the NASDAQ.

Buying assets at a large discount is a Chevron specialty.

Israel has long been radioactive as far as the global energy industry was concerned with too many interests in the Arab world to risk Israeli operations. But the dynamics have changed as Gulf countries have warmed to Israel.

I find it hard to believe Chevron has found the time to be making educational films for Israeli schools over the past 8 months. I suspect that was Lloyd Noble's work.
