N of a very few. Recommend formal schooling for the most. Except in one case, son of friend and business partner, send to me for powwow many years ago when he was 15, unwilling to finish high school and wanting to be chef. After powwow I discussed w/ parents, starting with “______ [less usual name] is not going to finish high school. He wants to be a chef” _______ has had a M starred restaurant in Europe for awhile, being one of the youngest ever to receive such, and it has been only ~10 years. Made it across the Covid 2020 renovating the restaurant and make available order-outs. Coconut possibly heading into gap year 2022-2023. College is not for all. Jack likely needs college, to at least party, unless he knows what he wants to do before such.
