Funk-
I am not a marketmaker, but I read the post you're talking about when it occurred, and the ones after it and this guy wasn't a MM, just a disgruntled postal worker. Do you know the MM's can't even talk to each other on the phone? How can they "manipulate" a stock? When you play poker with your friends do you call them scumbag manipulators when they bluff you? I am not a MM advocate, but step back and try to imagine yourself as a MM trying to trade out of a position when you are constantly battling with people that wouldn't be there if only for a loophole and an electronic execution system? My opinion- trade the liquid stocks, anything else is too risky when you don't know what you're up against. What does a chart say about manipulation anyway?

Funk,

I agree with Alex, What does a chart say about manipulation?

BTW, How are you any different than the market makers? Maybe that 1/4 you just made was the difference between the market maker's kid going to the local community college instead of Yale.
