I don't think Genghis Khan will meet with MQ's approval.

GK was a bit of a socialist. Created a welfare state: if warriors received work related injuries or death, family supported by taxes.

If GK were on tap as a consultant today, he would a approve of universal health care to provide for a strong nation and loyal warriors. I am fairly sure he would review health insurance business, and health related bureucracies and make changes where appropriate.

As ggersh mentioned, we do have socialism, but it's for the rich, not for the poor.

We also have a communist style command economy, that is on steroids since Covid broke out.

I am all for private enterprise everywhere it can work, and government by the people, for the people.
