Crossing the Rubicon is actually an excellent book. I read it back around 2005ish and have said over and over we are mirroring the fall of the Roman empire. Our liberal slide is following the same script. Finance, military and PC culture are sealing our doom but since the media brainwashing works, there isn't much we can do except hoard as much as you can and time your exit to a safe new place when it all finally collapses. I don't think it will happen quickly but then again, Biden didn't think Afghanistan would fall so quickly either. I highly recommend reading that book.
