VP: will be very interested to hear from you on the Michael Baybak and Company article. Probably refers to the Mahakam's.

Best regards, and thanks for their phone number,

Ron E

vargas - Thanks for the info. If IPJ has a deposit that is as big as Grassberg that would certainly explain the runup in the stock. But you know, that kind of sounds like one of those vague things that newsletter writers like to say, "they could have a deposit as big as Grassberg". Wonder if he had a specific property in mind.

Action of the last 2 days is very curious. There has definitely been a big volume spike and a leap in price and what is curious is that it started on a day when the POG was down $8 or so. Looks like Merrill Lynch has been unloading stock that they bought at about $1.50 while Nesbitt has been a big buyer in the $2.50 area. All in all very curious and I would suspect that if there is not some fundamental news to back this up we will soon have to retrace this weeks action in the price. If we don't then there has to be something else going on here.

Tom

Vargas,

Did you have any luck obtaining a copy of the Baybak report on IPJ?
