Hi TI,

I hope you're right. My feeling is that if increasing earnings doesn't move the stock, then it's not moving. The only things that will change that is if institutions or funds decide in the next few days to take a position in APCO, or someone upgrades the stock.

Regards,
Chris

Re: "flushing effect"

Seems to me we keep coming up with reasons the stock will "probably go way up tomorrow". It's all kind of useless to conjecture on this. After the momentum players are flushed out I'm still going to be sitting there and I'm not buying any more. I think a lot of people who bought this stock recently have also put as much into it as they ever will, unless they've decided for whatever reason to bank the farm on it. So what then, back to low volume and price? Meanwhile a lot of good stocks are rising 20% or more in a given week and they're getting easier to find as the market gets more liquidity.

Looks like we should each decide whether we're traders or investors and go from there. I've got about 20 stocks and the one I've held longest was bought in December (and I'm satisfied with my gains). I'm not patient but I've decided to be patient for APCO. So I'm loaded up on it, and if I were smarter I'd take it off my damn portfolio reports so as to pretend it's not there. Come back in a month - if nothing's happened by then it's time to move on and put your money to work.
