Re <<Harrier>>

I had always thought the Harrier super neat and certainly assembled at least one model of the jet.

I appreciated the chutzpah daring of Russian engineering, but was not until now aware that the origin of the harrier proof-of-concept. Very interesting.

I do not believe demonizing the Russians does any good beyond a short term and short-sighted point-scoring.

I might be wrong, but I hold respect in quantity to see what the Russians might do going forward. Whereas the civilization-state has had trouble reforming and growing, but after thousands of years and much foreign invasion, as in the case of the old woman named China Message 33446213 is still around, and

… as the French was BS about democratic values pre-Dien Bien Phu, I believe there are still a lot of BS being circulated by the like-minded

All just suspicions, and I am agnostic, but not as agnostic as in the matter of Covid.

I like good music, love wonderful singing, especially if the lyric is ‘genuine’, and am suspicious to be told to denigrate culture that produces good songs, in all versions, including adaptation by neighbors performed back to the host

My in-laws are of the generation that studied Russian and they do have such a good time at BBQ with our Russian neighbors here in Hong Kong, and the Jack plays well with Andre, doing nerf gun battles and laser-tag wars against whomever at the club on Friday nights.
