That is my guess. Of course all the info is restricted and super secret. Are we surprised?

NATO calls the Yak41 "Freestyle". I think their technical specialists have been spending too much time on utube as well.

The UK and the RAF scrapped the plans for a new Harrier and went with the Russian Yak -41 variant prototype.

What changed their minds so abruptly? Forget all that technical bs. Those arguments would have gone on for eons. I think I have shown the answer -ggg-
