Pence is a liar. You can't cite him on anything. You're only posting about Korea to troll me. Everyone on this thread knows that you don't give a shit about the Korean Peninsula. Actually its a very relevant comparison. Even a better one than VN or Afg. We've kept troops Korea for 60+ years and we bailed half the country out when the Communists had conquered almost all the county. Its a great example of a country that couldn't defend itself at the time. And no Trumper on this thread gives a F about it. Trump resents it and his cult goes along with whatever he says. America had one job and one job only in Korea, which is to stop communist aggression. And Korea had no land border with a free country so how was communist aggression going to spread? America had one job in AFG - to stop the Taliban from using it as a haven for terrorists. Instead we handed over the country to the Taliban. Only in the late 80's and early 90's did Korea finally emerge as a true democracy, thanks to grassroots support. Now Korea is in a position where, if America withdrew completely from the Korean Peninsula (which I would endorse), they can easily hold their own. As far as NK is concerned. But China is another story. They still support their historic allies. In fact, NK couldn't survive without China. Korea is our longest war and no Trumper or leftist would hesitate to sell it out. In short, there is no comparison between Afghanistan and Korea. Its a perfect parallel. You're just embarrassed to admit it.
