I think that is what will finally bring Afghanistan into the 21st (or at least 20th) century kicking and screaming.

The Soviet Union collapsed once the Iron Curtain was pierced enough times for people to see there is a better way. Pre-cell phones.

Taliban will only be able to keep their people down so long with more brutality until .... the people decide enough is enough and say we want what others (outside Afghanistan) have.
