Other concerns, too... as the locus in production appears it has shifted...

The Delta apparently concentrates its replication efforts and interest in nasal passages far more than prior variants..

And, that alone might account for its increased rates of transmission ? Including that a virus with a more ready access to the emergent paths that foster infection in others... will be amplifying those impacts only more in result of those producing the most virus also being the ones exempted from masks, and exempted from social gathering... so most likely to impose larger concentrations of virus on others...

"Breakthrough" is probably in part a result of those issues... with exposures to larger concentrations of virus in result of having it being cultivated in (and not contained by ) the vaxxed... which issue with concentration of innoculum we already know is a defining characteristic of this virus...
