<The Polio vaccine is the only one I know of where the inventor
wanted it to be free>

At less than $10/dose in bulk, most vaccines are practically free in USA. The cost is in the distribution, storage and inoculation.

USA spends only 10% of its healthcare costs on Big Pharma. $1 spent on Big Pharma could reduce the healthcare cost by $5. If 100 people were given $10 vaccine, the cost is $1,000. But if 1 less person goes to the hospital, the money saved is $5000 or more.

So stop fixating on free and look for what works.

So is Big Pharma the big villain here or the Big Hospital complex or Big Insurance?
