I do rather think that's the point of BLM... Even if they fail in making the point... or, don't intend to make it as I am... rather than seek status themselves... If deregulation and "get out of jail free" is the solution to corruption and corporate crimes... Why isn't it the solution to street crime ? Free markets DO NOT WORK... without effective regulation to enforce the rules that are required to exist for a free market to exist... Otherwise... Somalia would be leading the global economy... with all of its intrinsic advantages... However... imposing rules BEYOND what a free market requires... is as destructive as too few rules... Corruption thrives on advantages crafted into the rules... that violate the rules of a free market ? As long as people want the benefits of corruption more than they want the benefits of success... we will get less and less success over time... and more and more corruption...
