"...The "12% over" the year ago quarter gives more precise information than the "10 to 15%" range mentioned in the Jan 23 press release.
However, today's announcement made no mention of an EPS estimate..."

Steve, the calculation of EPS requires other info which, at this time, may not be readily available to them.

"...I'm still puzzled why they are announcing that now. Why not just wait until earnings on the 18th? ..."

As most of us know, the investment community hates uncertainty. It seems ADCT wants to remove as much uncertainty as quickly as possible. And it appears that this is one of the things they are doing to achieve that so as to stabilize (or increase) the stock price.

"...Can I safely speculate that when a growth company stops growing revenues sequentially and significantly that some of the big players jump ship..."

It's more than a speculation. Time and time again, we have seen large institutional "investors" shoot first (ie jump ship) and ask questions later when a company they invested in encountered some temporary problems.

"...Comments on the ADCT management team? Are they normally up front ...?"

As far as I can tell, they give the impression of being competent and I have not come across any instance where it has been proven that they had intentionally misled investors.

Steve,

ADCT always announces Revenues a few weeks before they release earnings. I believe nothing should be read into the fact that they announced early. It is normal.
