AJ, that's a super price! Try the recipe. Even my parents told me they love it and that's its better than store-bought:)

The extra marinade and pan drippings are a hit for later use as well.

off-topic reply to AJ re: bone in pork shoulder roast baked in oven last night

recipe instructions:

place fat sat up in a 4-inch sided turkey roasting pan and place on a rack within the roasting
pan, and add 1/2 inch of filtered water to the pan

bake one hour at 425
bake additional 2 hours at 300
bake additional 5 hours at 180

never cover with foil or other for the entire cooking duration

let stand in oven without opening oven an additional 3 hours

slice at that time ... make whatever by adding seasonings & vegies, etc.

Preparation is only drying the raw meat with paper towels, do NOT wash pork in water ever
.... then air curing in the frig uncovered for at least 6 to 8 hours though the longer the better
for air curing in the dry state ... and do not season or salt or rub meat before baking
