I was tested after I got sick. In my area we had six lanes of cars and each car was tested by six groups of people. I knew I had it two days later. The CDC called me from Chicago. Everyone else I know was called from the state health department so I may have had something different. The reason I remember this is because I sent a mass text to everyone I know saying, "if you were tested pick up out of state calls. It might be the CDC."

Symptoms are based on blood type. A person with O blood doesn't get very sick, but might get sick from at least one of the vaccines. Anyone who doesn't get very sick will get sick from at least one of the shots. People who are very sick get sick from both shots.

Since I almost died from it, the symptoms were basic. After chills and the feeling of being hit by a train I slept; 12 hours after the first vaccination and 15 after the second. I woke long enough to drink water, pee and then back to sleep.

My nephew just got the vaccine and he slept for 15 hours after the first shot. Waiting on the second. He probably had delta, but was never tested. Most of us are very athletic so preexisting conditions weren't an issue.
