Brad, Like the private message feature recently activated, have a question. After the message is read there is a trash can or "I have read it" which do the same thing, store the read message. In order to save you storage space will there be a feature to really delete the message entirely, or will it self destruct after a certain time period? Thanks. George

Brad,

I just checked again and counted the peoplemarks in my active list and it cuts off at 75. Alphabetically, all my peoplemarks after chuck.. are gone. The page was fully loaded. I have no clue!

My point about looking at the original message as you respond was that I liked where it was before, that is, above the reply not below the reply. I know it's still there.

Keep up the great work.

Barry

Hi Brad,

I would just like to add my voice for those asking for an "ignore poster" feature.

It will be interesting to see the list of people being "ignored" the most!!!

Thanks for the great site.

Judith

Brad, how about a "find someone" feature? Sometimes specific people are interesting to look up although one wouldn't necessarily know where they are on SI. For example, JJ Cramer, of Street fame posts on some networking threads. I might not be interested in Peoplemarking him because I have way too much stuff Peoplemarked already. Still, it might be interesting to drop in on him once in awhile. Yet, if I do a search on 'cramer', I get every cut 'n paste article which has his name when, really, I just want to find him.

Can you do a "Find a person's profile" feature?

Brad: One small idea for your future consideration:

Move the "view subjectmarks" button to the top of the screen. If there's not room enough now, consider moving the "remove navigation" button elsewhere.

I use "view subjectmarks" several times each session -- I go straight to my bookmarks, hit the wonderful (xx New) feature you recently added, run through each new message, then hit "view subjectmarks" to return. However, I have to scroll down to reach it most of the time.

Thanks for all the recent improvements.

Brad, Are you limited to horizontal radio buttons(active names etc).
Someone said he would like to have the "view subject marks" at the top as many times you have to scroll down to it.
What if you make it a vertical line just outside the right border that leads to it?.
You could have two lines on each side that would be link lins and they would take little space as we would soon get to
know what they were and could put a mouse point on one easily. This would save scrolling and might be
made to minimize site accesses by going straight toa place instead of going to place "A" and then place "B".
On small screen the navigation uses space and gets turned off on many monitors. The lines could be different colors too, endless possibilities.
How cloase can 3 lines be and still be pointers?, I would say that you could be this close,
III for 3 lines as I can select one line easily with my mouse. This would give you 3 non scroll needed destinations on each side,
and the rest that are used less often could be grouped in an upper/lower bar as warranted by frequency of use.
What is the size of the average post?, is it under a half page?

The following is one top row in 20 point, then a row of 16 point and 2 rows of 12 point type

Bill
