"even though none of it makes any sense whatsoever"... I think its already pretty well established... that in "the new normal"... Rather than depending on free speech and open debate between reasonable people... expecting that people of good will can seek and find "truth" cooperatively... "truth" is now determined in far larger part by the degree of persistence and vehemence in the opposition to the imposition of the opposite. When you see the "terrorists" suddenly being handed the microphone... instead of being threatened and ostracized... THAT is the moment of their first admission of their acceptance of a fact in a universal failure. Re-training people... that winning requires sustaining the threats of morons, and persisting in spite of them ? Or, preparing people... by that massive shift in the culture... that the future is going to be vastly more violent ? What would pick one do ? Can you name any similar events recently... in which "the media narrative" suddenly and dramatically changed in a near total reversal... with a repositioning occurring "as if we never said anything different" ? Why is that the new normal ? How did it get that way ?
