I agree with your analysis. Don't have much faith in timing. I believe that the turnaround will be noticed first by the TA people who indeed will add some capital, and then by the momentum players who will also add some capital, keeping the uptrend going. When these folks have run their course, the value players will be the first out, when they perceive the stock overvalued, then the TA people, and then the momentum folks. This simplification reinforces the concept of trending.
