speculators who would not know gold from pyrite...

Pretty bold claim to make about Eric Sprott and Quinton Hennigh...

There were plenty of guys who knew there was gold in the region 50 years ago... and they scratched at the surface... even produced a bit... but they never connected the dots to solve that geological puzzle about where it came from... in a way that allowed them to find a WHOLE LOT more ? Solving that puzzle in the last two years has created massive new potential for LARGER value where before there was only a puzzle ?

And if others "who are not speculators" don't understand that... too bad for them.

But, then, a gold rush isn't ever driven by someone wandering off into the wilderness LOOKING...

A gold rush only occurs when someone wandering in the wilderness looking... actually ends up FINDING...

And, then, the rush to stake new claims around the big new find... is ONLY about the fact in the find having already occurred. And those "speculators" who not too dense to recognize it... who identify and stake more prospective ground BETTER than those who fail to notice or act... end up be being the far better finders than those who sat there watching it happen... and did nothing...

That's just reality.

The score that gets kept... the one that matters most... is in the big values in big deposits containing large quantities in the multiples in ounces found... not in small finds tallied in fractions of grams found ?

The same is true in terms of the stock market.

If I have greater skill than others in locating stocks that go up... and buy them and ride them higher: I win

To do that... I don't have to invent the companies products for them ? I just have be in the right place at the right time with the ability to tell WHEN they have what they need to make the company succeed ?

That I CAN invent their product for them... doesn't actually make me more money than just knowing what stocks to buy... and when to buy them ?

The score that gets kept... the one that matters most... is in the dollars won... and kept... not the "woulda, coulda, shoulda" excuses...

With a new geological model... suddenly Newfoundland makes a WHOLE LOT more sense as a place to LOOK... And, for now,.. the places worth looking have not yet all been bottled up. And in result... anyone who knows where there's a patch of gold on the surface... even if its low grade... suddenly has the potential keys to enable finding large volume high grade deposits with multiple of ounces per ton...

I see ZERO evidence that the guys staking claims are doing so blindly...

As always... some are going to be luckier than others... and some will have just gotten there earlier than others...

But, I don't see people chasing worthless moose pasture just to pump the stocks... the way I've seen happen in lots of other places I could mention...

When 1 gram per ton is considered "high grade"... and you have an entire gold camp scratching the surface and finding multiple ounces per ton...?

I'd say... "Speculators" my ass... they're just moving quicker than you... in finding gold the right way ?

Gold is where you find it... still means you have to go to where it is to find it ?
