My recollection is china is not claiming 99% on their packaging. Second issue is, and I believe its why the hangup, is how when applying a 99.99% coating to a 2%-10% efficient mask make the mask 99.9%? Again, not being critical of anything but the application for approval. If the mask is 2-10% efficient based on fitment, then adding a plastic bag to the face of the mask makes it 100% impervious, but the issue is, when people breath in and out the blue mask is only 10% efficient on sealing to the face. So that means at least 50-90% of the air breathed in or out goes out the sides top and bottom. If you note, the N95s actually cut into the facial skin when they are worn. Their seal is much better and hence the claims. If you used the same plastic bag on the face of a N95 you would suffocate. So that tells me HC will have issues with the claim. Why is this important? Well if ZEN gets some sort of 99%+ rating for ZENGUARD then theoretically they could apply this to tissue paper then claim the tissue paper stops 99%+ You guys seem to think you are producing masks, you aren't. You are coating a fabric, so if HC gives approval to the coating and its claims then they lose control to what it is applied too and can get erroneous claims on other items. Secondly, the metal particles are the issue, and its why Bio got approved IMHO Lastly, the tests that were done by the Labs were done on GO from ZEN The approval if given will be based on those lab results. Yet, ZEN is not using its GO for the masks. I have seen many a "thing" get by HC but never have I seen something like this with so many holes in the submission get by HC. So, ZEN management may be waiting for "Approval" as they are saying, but really what they are waiting for is a Decision, and I do not see this as a cake walk as all of you do. I realize you may think I have a bias in this regard. Actually my bias is removed, I knew you would never make it as a Graphite producer in the mining sector. You have switched to Healthcare which is a NEW ZEN not any resemblance to the old one. But, you are now under HC......and I have tonnes of experience with that group and I see holes in this application you could drive a truck through. I have seen airtight applications get dismissed so to see a holeee one like this makes me nervous, and I don't get nervous easily when it comes to HC.
