@Home and Time Warner's Road Runner are in "serious" talk regarding a possible merger, according to Broadcasting & Cable magazine. Spokepeople for @Home and Road Runner said they could neither confirm nor deny the report. "We talk to everybody," a Road Runnerspokeswoman said. (source: news.com)

The statement I agree with.

"The easier solution rests with having them purchase the "black
TV box" and connect via modem. Using a service like ATHM
makes a lot more sense. Very few people are afraid of using
their TV's. TV will win out because of it's acceptance versus
the need for purchasing a computer and hooking up via
telephones. Would you rather look at a 32" TV screen or a
17" computer monitor? "
