The Constitutions says we retain all rights and powers not enumerated in the Constitution. It does not give courts any powers or rights not enumerated in the Constitution. We always had the right. A Supreme Court ruling simply returned the right back to us after it was taken away by states. The same can be said about gay marriage. The right was taken away by states and returned to us by the courts. They can't do this in reverse. We decide which rights we have.

Does anyone know how our government works?
