Australia is a western democracy. So they are a good example. Not sure what the rest of your post has to do with what I said. The US is a role model for much of the world and a warning to a few. Either way that has no relevance to the internal problems plaguing the US. Being an aspiration to many doesn't mean that one cannot be better or should not try to.

I think roto you underestimate the Chinese.. and yes that is a double entendre specifically for you :) U still use a Western lens appears to me.. I know your time in China is longer than mine ,, but I can attest to being Chinese as raised culturally.. despite the advantage of LOOKING white :) and passing English French linguistically and a bit of Spanish ... with some Canto..
