Ed: I think it is too early to be PREDICTING outcomes. It is ALWAYS too early to claim you KNOW what will happen. So, the question becomes whether there is any value in discussing/speculating. I think there is because the true story, although unavailable to us, lies somewhere between statements issued by the opposing camps. It is a mistake to take any particular statement at face value. As they say, actions speak louder than words, so I find it illuminating to look at the associations and activities of the players. What the current situation says to me is Beasley has strength in the House but not in the Senate and I am encouraged by the appearance of the Petroleum Marketers Association on the side of VGMs. TKA
