Let's begin with when life begins. Look at the opposite (I do this a lot). When does life end? When the heart stops beating? No, we can start it up again. When the brain stops working? We can't undo that so one could argue our brain makes us uniquely human so life begins when the brain starts working. But even here, there are reasons to end life (murder, etc.) so is the case with abortion. There can't be absolutes. The woman and her doctor decide her course of action just like any other medical procedure. We'd never let a judge tell a doctor to cut off the wrong leg (hyperbole). It's a medical decision. So unless we want the government looking into our medical records it's best to stop this nonsense dead in its track.
